I can honestly say out of all the photography I do, shooting weddings is by far my favourite. I recently had a chance to head to Punta Cana for a wedding and had the honour of being asked to do the photography for the event. I couldn’t have been happier as these are not only great friends but family from the car/truck club I belong to. (Prize Possessions)
The weather could not have been better and even though I have never met Tyler and Lindsay’s family and close friends, they could not have been more accepting of me. The wedding took place on a private area of the beach closed off from the rest of the people at the resort and included a full blown head table, amazing dinner and a portable fully lit dance floor. The ceremony was short and sweet and the after party was nothing short of extrodinary.
My favourite part of the entire week was the next evening after the wedding when Tyler and Lindsay put their outfits back on and we got to shoot a “trash the dress” session on the beach, ocean and even at the swim up bar. All in all this was an amazing experience and one I will never forget as a photographer and friend. Take a minute and check out a few of the teaser pics.
