My daughter is turning one on the 23rd of this month – where has the time gone? All I’ve ever wanted for her birthday was to have a little princess cake smash. Well, if I really sit down to think about it, the term Cake Smash should be used very liberally here. Sophia wasn’t a huge fan of actually touching the cake. She was happy about the balloons, and was ok once we gave her a spoon, but to actually get icing on herself? Yuck.
It was more than a chore to keep her on the paper in the kitchen, because she wanted to share her cake with everyone. But the bright pink icing was a good reason to keep her away from the carpet!
