What a weekend! Saturday morning, I drove out to Cobourg to visit my best friend, who happened to be 33 weeks pregnant. We planned to do her maternity photos, and then I was going to head home. But what Sarah didn’t know was that Chris and I had an elaborate plan for her surprise baby shower on Sunday! Instead of driving home, I stayed at Bob’s house and his wife and I got everything ready for the shower (ok, we also went and saw the Hunger Games, but we have to have a little fun too!).
Sarah was texting me about her photos, why aren’t they online yet? Where are her teasers? Well, I couldn’t tell her the truth, so I made up some really well orchestrated fibs.
Sunday came, and we had my favourite picture blown up to display at her shower, and she was surprised, overwhelmed, excited… and every bit a beautiful expecting mom! Chris showed up after the shower with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, and I was so happy for my friends.
Sarah and Chris, I can’t wait to meet your little man, he’s going to be such a wonderful baby, and I will be there, taking pictures, every step of the way!
