This may be a long winded post, but I can’t help myself – my very best friend from when we were only 13 has gotten married! I got a phone call about 6 weeks ago to ask if I was busy the weekend of the 22nd, and I was actually not booked with anything. I had no idea Sarah was going to say – ok, I think I might get married!
I was so proud to be a bridesmaid on this beautiful (although chilly) day, and I was so excited that Bob was available to take the photos – if it can’t be me, I’m glad it was him 😛
We had a very low key, no stress morning at Sarah’s place getting our hair and makeup done (makeup by Madison’s MUA), then we got Sarah dressed and I won’t lie, I shed a tear or two. Then down to Newmarket we went for the ceremony at Fairy Lake, a place that Sarah holds very dear to her heart.
We froze. But we got through the pictures and made our way to the Tannery to get some inside shots so we could warm up. The reception was a blast – some great speeches, great food and the best old school hip hop!
I’m so glad that Sarah and Chris found each other, and I’m happy to be a part of their sons’ lives – Congratulations!
