My last wedding of the season has come and gone – and Aaron and Sarah were the best possible couple to send me off into my hiatus for the winter. Oh, who are we kidding! I’m not on hiatus, I’m still diligently working away on the blog, family photos and *gasp* Christmas sessions!
But back to the beautiful wedding – Sarah and Aaron had a very vintage theme, and it was stunning. Sarah’s dress was authentic from, if I recall correctly, the 40’s. And the church was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Aaron could hardly hold himself together when Sarah came down the aisle, and that had the whole church choked up. The rain threatened for most of the day, but only really affected us for the family photos – but, rolling with the punches, we moved into the church for those, and everyone was happy to not be cool anymore!
The portraits were done both downtown Barrie outside, and inside the Flying Monkey Brewery. The staff there was so accommodating, and there were so many great little nooks and crannies to take some truly stunning shots!
Then the Holiday Inn was our final destination, the reception went off without a hitch – complete with a beautiful waltz from the bride and groom. Stunning, everything was just absolutely stunning! Well done Aaron and Sarah, and thank you for having me be a part of your day!
