You may remember Nigel and Raquel from about 8 months ago when I did some photos of them still as semi-newbies. Well, they’re a year old. Yep, the time sure does fly! And while they are developing their little personalities and growing so much, they’re still the most adorable little dolls ever!
Mom spent days, DAYS making cakes for them. These cakes were amazing. I’m talking multiple layer, realistic toy style train (out of cake) and everything. Had to weigh at least 20lbs each cake. I was in awe of the amazing-ness of these cakes. The kids, however, not so much!
Nigel wasn’t really into it, but he put up with our singing and chanting and helping… he got his hands a little dirty…. his clothes a LOT dirty… and was a fairly good sport.
Raquel, was not. The poor doll was fine for the first little bit and then something about that cake terrified her. She would NOT sit near it, she needed to be taken away so she couldn’t see it to calm down! Poor mom must have felt so bad after all that time and effort for such a beautiful cake! But I promise them, and I’ll show you… it doesn’t take a full on cake-ripping time to have wonderful birthday pictures!
Both these kids rocked their shoots, and they look amazing doing it!
