Next on the blog list is Wendy and Matt who tied the knot at the Maclaren Art Gallery in Barrie. I was there to take their wedding photos, and I’m so glad they chose me!
The morning was very laid back, the guys were almost ready when I arrived, the pocket squares required some you tubing but everyone cleaned up very nicely. And the girls were almost ready too – almost. Except they couldn’t figure out how to tie up the convertible dresses! Wendy took everything in stride and gave everyone time to get properly attired. We took some photos outside and then we were off to the ceremony. I love the Maclaren, the archway where the ceremony and dinner was is always stunning in pictures, but not nearly as stunning as this couple. They were emotional and funny and caring and just overall wonderful. I really enjoyed spending the day with them.
Instead of taking the whole afternoon fending off pokemon go players to get a spot to take our pictures, they preferred to have a minute alone, and then mingle with their guests – it’s rare to see a couple get to spend this much time with their guests, and quiet refreshing!
Congratulations you two, hope you enjoyed the honeymoon!
