Here is the much awaited blog from Charles and Jesseca’s wedding on the weekend! I felt like I was intruding on a very private moment when I took the wedding photos. The whole day was just a never ending long gaze. The whole day was spent watching Charles and Jesseca just staring at each other. They only had eyes for each other – and with all the hustle and bustle of a wedding, it was really refreshing to see the two of them so very much in love.
The morning was very laid back. I arrived at the B&B, the guys had a good morning, with a couple of much needed ‘congrats’ shots to be had. The girls were similar, getting their hair done while staring out the balcony into a placid lake with bird song in the background.
At the ceremony, Jesseca came down the aisle with a big, beautiful smile on her face. And Charles waited at the front, with tears in his eyes. It was all Jess could do to get Charles to wait until he was allowed to kiss the bride – he kept leaning in to try.
We left to Furnace Falls in a sweet old Chev to take some photos and got mooned by some people enjoying a swim. And while we were gone, there was lots of fun to be had with a game of washers, or giant jenga.
When we returned, the dances were had before dinner. And it was touching as you could imagine. Charles and Jess stared into each others eyes the whole time. And during the parent’s dances, well, I was brought to tears myself.
Thank you so much for having me at your wedding. It was beautiful, and I can only hope that you guys love these photos as much as I do!
