When Bob told me that our friends Hayley and Andrew were officially engaged, I was thrilled! And when Hayley asked if I would be their photographer, I couldn’t say no! OK, maybe I had already kept that date open, just hoping 😛 But ask they did, and I was honoured to join them yesterday as they tied the knot!
The girls were anything but stressed prepping that morning, and I hear the guys enjoyed a nice hot shave. The ceremony was beautiful, despite the threat of rain, it held off throughout the whole thing. Hayley looked gorgeous in her dress, and Andrew was quite the stunner as well. We only had a short period of time during photos that the rain started, but we took that opportunity to head to the Snug, the pub that Andrew works at, to take a couple shots there.
The staff at Bloomfield Farms in Newcastle was fantastic, the food was amazing – the cheesecake bites were to DIE for and al in all, the party was a huge success. I loved taking their photos, but when it was time to pack up my gear so I could cut a rug with the rest of them, I was ready to party!
