I’m biased, but this is the most beautiful baby yet, so prepare yourself!

My niece was born on Saturday morning at 5:38am after a labour that started on Thursday! I was honoured and blessed to be able to be there from beginning to end, capturing the labour and birth for my sister and brother in law. I can’t describe how proud I am at my sister for making it through the whole thing with such grace (and ok, a few swear words… )

Little Emma is a dream – this is only part 1 of the photos, I’ll be doing more tomorrow when I have more light (it was getting dark soon after we started) but even the first set is so beautiful! Emma peed a little on the blankets, and fought the positions we put her in (expressly hating her head facing forward, the side was better thankyouverymuch.
