A couple weekends ago I was lucky enough to be there to photograph Christie and Shane’s wedding. This is my first of 13 weddings that I’ve already got booked for the year, and I was excited! I made my way down to Burlington to Christie’s house where the girls were getting their hair and makeup done – Christie was a stunning bride, looking absolutely beautiful in her gown. And Shane certainly was no slouch! He looked wonderful in his grey tux.
The ceremony was full of love, and even a couple stifled tears. And when it was all done, we headed outside to the chilly lakefront to take some pictures. Now, when I say chilly, I’m not kidding – it was cold! But the tow of them kept it really warm and we got some great shots – their ability to laugh together still makes me smile!
The reception was a lot of fun – lots of dancing and even a pretty awesome Saxophone player came to serenade them (Mo Saxx from Toronto, if you’re interested). A beautiful story was told of a prince and a princess by the mother of the bride, and there were more than a few tears… but enough of that – to the pictures!
