Little Avery is a little outside the 10 days I recommend for her Newborn Photography. However, she was born a wee bit before she was expected to arrive, and at 2 months, she just reached her due date recently! I was warned by Kirsty (mum) that preemies are a little hard to judge, they’re sleepy like a newborn one second – and wide awake and playful like a 2 month old the next. Man, was she giving little Avery a bad rep! Avery slept like an angel from the moment I arrived, basically until I was packing up! A gorgeous little angel! We snapped up all her little newborn pictures, included Stella, the dog in a couple. Honestly, I looked through some of the pictures before I start editing – this cheeky little girl has stolen my heart!
I’m so happy you have a happy and healthy little angel Kirsty – I can’t wait until the summer when we can do a catch up of your little family all together!
If you’re pregnant or if you just had a little one, contact me to book your newborn session now! Typically we book a couple months before your due date to make sure we can fit you on the calendar, but there’s always a way to squeeze in some last minute bookings! Newborn photography can be done in studio or in the comfort of your own home. Most of my props and backgrounds are portable, and I’ve worked in some pretty small spaces! If you’ve got a room with good light, a new baby and the will to make it work, we’ll make it work!
