It has been a long two years without my camera in my hands. There are many days that I really miss photography – so when my sister started planning her wedding, I couldn’t imagine not being involved in the photography, at least a little! And we are very lucky to have Bob who graciously donated his time and talent to taking the photos I couldn’t.
Madison’s day started bright and early at Casino Rama with her bridesmaids and sisters, nieces, mom and soon to be mother in law. We had coffee and laughs while getting our hair and makeup done, and then it was time to start getting dressed. Madisons dress hung in the window, and it was beautiful but not nearly as beautiful as it looked when the time came to finally get her dressed. Madison was a princess top to bottom, and the entire day fell beautifully short of her radiance. David got ready in his own room with his dad, brother and friends that flew in from Australia. Madison had a first look with dad, who was giving away his 3rd and final little girl. and then a first look at Northbrook Farms with her soon to be husband David (who’s mom held it together, but just barely!)
Madison and David were surrounded by their family and friends while they tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor spot, but the tent wowed everyone – the whole thing was decorated by Madison’s bridesmaid and was truly stunning. There were so many little details that brought the Canadian and Australian families together, including Koala bears hiding in the table decor that were a huge hit. The night was filled with dancing, speeches and a cartoonist! I couldn’t be more happy for David and Madison and wish them a lifetime of love.
