Bob and I were lucky enough to be able to capture the wedding of Meghan and Shawn on the weekend. We were down in Pickering area starting at a hotel for the girls, and a groomsmen's parent's house for the guys. Then over to Parkwood Estates for the ceremony, and it was a completely gorgeous location. The gardens, the building, the whole thing - absolutely stunning. And the bridal party made it easy, falling right into their poses. We then went to Safari, the restaurant closed down for the wedding and made a delicious dinner for the party. The whole wedding from the details to the dress was gorgeous.

Next on the blog list is Wendy and Matt who tied the knot at the Maclaren Art Gallery in Barrie. I was there to take their wedding photos, and I'm so glad they chose me!
The morning was very laid back, the guys were almost ready when I arrived, the pocket squares required some you tubing but everyone cleaned up very nicely. And the girls were almost ready too - almost. Except they couldn't figure out how to tie up the convertible dresses! Wendy took everything in stride and gave everyone time to get properly attired. We took some photos outside and then we were off to the ceremony. I love...
I hade the pleasure of attending Ginny & Maurizio's wedding at the Nottawasaga a couple weeks ago. It was a stinking hot day, but there was no rain and the wedding party was so much fun! I made friends with Paul, the best man, and we went around taking some fun shots of all the tables. This crowd was such a blast, and I'm so glad I was there to see them at their happiest!
Deanna and Spencer tied the knot a couple weeks ago and Bob was there to capture their day. It called for rain all day, but that didn't put a damper on this group - they were all smiles in all of the pictures. It was a beautiful ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church (thankfully, because otherwise they would have been rained out!) and the photos on the golf course were beautiful. The rain let up just enough to get some really great shots - and then as the sun set, Bob was able to sneak the couple out for some beautiful shots and some private moments.
As always, Innisbrook did a wonderful...
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Jaclyn and Luke's wedding. I was excited for this one, over the last year or so I've come to know Jaclyn and she is an absolutely amazing woman. And if you were lucky enough to hear the speeches, I wasn't the only one who thinks so. I asked if there was a rain plan, since Saturday was supposed to be pouring all day - and Jaclyn's response? I believe in the power of positive thinking!
So there we were, in a torrential downpour, trying to find a way to get the bohemian style photos that Jaclyn so desperately wanted - in the rain. But then, it was as if the sky heard...
I was absolutely honoured to be in attendance for my dear friend's daughter's wedding. Sean and Shauna tied the knot on an absolutely stunning July afternoon in Brampton. I met with the girls for their prep and they were probably the most laid back bunch that I've been there for. There was no rushing, no frantic dressing - plenty of time to get the final touches done and relax a bit before the big show. From there I went to Carl's Catering to get some shots of the gent's getting ready for the guests to arrive. The venue was beautiful and decorated with such class. And the ceremony was stunning...
I had the pleasure of being there for Kayla & Tyler's wedding day. This was one hell of a group - they were a complete group of jokers and they made the day one hell of an amazing time. The guys had me laughing from the moment I showed up, and the girls, while graceful and classy were also a lot of fun :)
The ceremony was beautiful, outside on a nice hot day - and then we all went across the road for some pictures and came back to take a few more with a gorgeous classic car. Dinner was delicious and the dancing was a blast. I had a hard time even leaving, because I was having so much fun.
I...
Over the weekend I was lucky enough to be there to capture the memories for Patrick and Cassandra's wedding with Bob. It was a stunning, albeit very hot day. We started out at the Hampton Inn for the bridal and groom prep, and then headed to Tangle Creek for the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony was beautiful, and there were so many guests that it was standing room only! Then afterwards, the bridal party all hopped into golf carts and made our way through the course for some photo ops. The day was completely full of laughs as the whole bridal party was just hilarious. We made our way down...
I met Lauren and Lenny at Scanlon Creek in Bradford the other day. The sunset was gorgeous, and the weather was perfect. But with that came a tonne of mosquitos!
We didn't have to walk very far to get some beautiful shots - there was a gigantic rock, a beautiful path, some benches and buildings - it really was a great spot! Lauren and Lenny were so much fun to photograph too, they had some cute ideas for poses and pretty much constantly stared into each others eyes. It was hard to get them to even look at the camera!
I hope Lauren and Lenny enjoy this little teaser!
Meghan and Shawn met me at Wilkins Beach for their engagement photos with their beautiful little pup. We worked our way through the park and got the best lighting - it truly is the golden hour!
There are so many reasons I love Wilkins Walk, from the bridge, to the beach. The stream and the rocks, the downed trees... so many gorgeous spots! And now that the weather is warming up - we can start getting clients into the water!
Anyways, here are some teasers - can't wait for this wedding!
