Laura and Matt got married at Belcroft Estates outside of Innisfil the past weekend and it was a stunning day! The week prior had been fraught with heat and then rain but the Saturday was perfect. There was a light breeze and just enough sun to make the inside of the barn light up perfectly.
I started out with Laura's prep, but moved in between the girls in the spa and the guys in the man cave at Belcroft. What a surprise it was for me when Jaclynn from Divine Hair Studio was there to get the girls hair all done - you may remember her from her beautiful bohemian wedding last year at Drysdales.

In June, Amber and Kevin tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor wedding in Oro. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing but it was a mild and gorgeous day. The wedding seemed to go off flawlessly - except when in the middle of the ceremony a cell phone rang. It's ok, it was Kevin's! Everyone had a good laugh and then we proceeded.
The photos were a lot of fun, and the dinner (cooked by Amber's sister) was amazing - all in all they had a phenomenal day!
Congratulations Amber and Kevin!
The last wedding of the year was on a beautiful beachfront property in Barrie. Bruna and Tom had a small intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends and it was incredible.
Bruna and Tom met here in Canada - their families are from out of the country (Brazil and Germany if I remember correctly) and they made it in to watch this beautiful couple get married. It was so incredibly plain to see just how in love with Bruna Tom is. His eyes lit up the second she walked into the room and the smile never left his face the whole day.
It was a little chilly and the wind caught us now and again...
Brenna and Kyle's big day finally arrived, what was supposed to be the last wedding of the season (I've since booked another!). We started out with bridal prep, the girls were super laid back, and I loved getting to know the ladies. We ran a little bit late - which Brenna wasn't overly concerned about, except she knew Kyle would be!
Off we went to Tiffin Conservation Centre for the first look. It was a beautiful moment as Kyle removed the tartan scarf from his eyes to see his beautiful bride. Then it was some photos of everyone together followed by the ceremony. Bar a few hitches, everything...
This may be a long winded post, but I can't help myself - my very best friend from when we were only 13 has gotten married! I got a phone call about 6 weeks ago to ask if I was busy the weekend of the 22nd, and I was actually not booked with anything. I had no idea Sarah was going to say - ok, I think I might get married!
I was so proud to be a bridesmaid on this beautiful (although chilly) day, and I was so excited that Bob was available to take the photos - if it can't be me, I'm glad it was him :P
We had a very low key, no stress morning at Sarah's place getting our hair and makeup done...
Sam and Gareth tied the knot a couple weeks ago (edited to say in September, because this blog didn't post when I thought it did!) and it was so much fun! We met at the hotel where the group had a shared common room in the suite - so we started with the guys and then moved into doing the ladies photos. The weather was stunning, if a little windy and everyone was smiling from the beginning to the end.
The tables were named after families from Game of Thrones - which was right up my alley! And the whole wedding party was so much fun! I wasn't even sure I wanted to go home at the end of the night...
Mylene and Paul got married at the Barrie Country Club on Thanksgiving weekend in the chilly fall weather. Bob and I got to be there for the whole thing from the first look all the way to the first dance. They were a great group and the whole bridal party kept us laughing the whole time.
We started at the hotel and then made our way to the Barrie Rotunda for the ceremony. Afterwards, Mylene and Paul hitched a ride in a vintage fire truck to the water front where we took our family pictures as well as the formals with the whole group. It was cool and windy by the water but we had a wonderful...
Kaylee and Dave had a ring ceremony at the beginning of October in beautiful Midland - the day called for rain, and all morning it rained! But when I got out to meet Kaylee, the rain stopped and gave us a small opportunity for some great photos!
Kaylee and Dave were wonderful, the theme of the wedding was reading - so centrepieces were novels all bound together. Their vows were read directly from passages of their favourite books. And the Huronia museum had an incredibly gorgeous backdrop for photos.
Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day!
Lauren and Lenny got married at the Club at Bond Head and Bob and I were there to photograph it. It was a great day - the weather called for rain, but it never came. There was plenty of wind though, so we moved the ceremony indoors. The girls got ready in Bradford, and then we all met at the golf course. There was a first look on the back terrace and then we went around the course for some photos, then after the ceremony, we joined the party and everyone had a wonderful time.
Thank you Lauren & Lenny for having us there for your special day!

Lacey and Trevor got hitched last weekend on Friday at Lionsgate in Barrie. We met at their hotel for some prep photos and Trevor was a ball of nerves! But he was looking dapper as ever and cleaned up really well in a suit! We went out and did some family photos and then I went back in to Lacey's room for her prep. Lacey's bouquet memorialized her mother who passed with a beautiful locket, and while I was taking photos of that, they were using all their might to push on Lacey's boots!
The ceremony was beautiful with a gorgeous backlit wall, and then over to a local park for some quick formal...
