This blog post has been a long, long time coming!  I first met Leigh-Anne & Eric at wedding show I did in Wasaga Beach (If I remember correctly?) back in 2019 - what feels like a very long time ago! It has been a long two years without my camera in my hands. There are many days that I really miss photography - so when my sister started planning her wedding, I couldn't imagine not being involved in the photography, at least a little!   And we are very lucky to have Bob who graciously donated his time and talent to taking the photos I couldn't. They say rain on your wedding day is lucky - and getting married on the evening before halloween - that has to be lucky. If you have black candles in candelabras and skulls in your flowers - all lucky. Honestly Jade and Joe are the luckiest 2 people out there now that they have each other. This wedding has been a long time coming - like all weddings planned in 2020 Emily and Liam booked me to photograph their wedding and things turned for the worse when the world shut down. But everything worth doing is worth waiting for, and this wedding was no exception. I could see Liam stealing glances at Emily all day. On the weekend I was honoured to be a guest at the wedding of Stephanie and Calder. This wedding held such a special place in my heart because Stephanie has been around since she was probably 8 or 9, so I've watched her grow up! Holding back the tears was a toughie at this wedding, but I mostly held it together and we got some really beautiful pictures. The wedding took place at Murphy's Farm and the decor, food and venue were absolutely incredible. Not to mention the desserts. In October I met Lynda and Andre for their wedding in Orillia - and what a stunning location! I must have somehow missed posting the blog so I've very late and I apologize but I always say it's better late than never - and I appreciate all my clients and fans for waiting so patiently! On a day that promised rain Lisa and Scott got married in the warm, filtered sun. We started the day in the firehall where Scott works - prep photos were complete with fun burnout's in the car and boys being boys with the firetruck. The girls prep was surprisingly laid back - Lisa had the kids just wanting to be with her, and she took a few moments to do just that. The backyard ceremony overlooking the hills and valleys below was the most beautiful backdrop and the smiles on the faces of all their loved ones filled my heart. I'm so happy to have been a part of their day, and I wish them a lifetime...

Some time a couple months ago I got a wonderful message from a beautiful woman I used to work with (previous life before photography, weird, I know!) that she was planning a wedding and couldn't imagine anyone else photographing it but me. At the end of October, Victoria and Royden tied the knot in a beautiful, love filled ceremony that we were lucky to be a part of! The day started in the church greeting guests, Victoria and Royden shared their personal vows and then hosted a small reception afterwards to greet their guests. There were a lot of smiles and laughs - and some really wonderful moments shared between everyone. Katelyn and Ryan tied the knot on a beautiful fall day at the Trillium Resort. The prep photos were stunning in a gorgeous wooden room, and the smiles were abundant. Katelyn looked stunning in her beautiful gown, and Ryan was dashing in his tux - and when he saw her, you couldn't' wipe the smile off his face! When it came time to take their photos, the chill started to get to them  but that didn't stop us from getting gorgeous images - I mean just look at these smiles!
