Although the whole day threatened rain on Sunday, we made it through with some perfect weather for photos! Carolyn and Ryan came with little Jack (who was significantly bigger than I remember in his newborn photos!), and much to my happiness, Jack was all smiles for me! We took some absolutely beautiful family photos, and with Jacks adorable little face, how could you not love them?!
I was honoured to witness sweet little Mia's baptism, it was a very joyous day and everyone had huge smiles the whole day. Mia was very happy, for the most part. Except when her outfit was being put on, and for a tiny bit at lunch. But she had some beautiful smiles, and was surrounded by a huge group of people that just absolutely love and adore her!
Thank you so much of having me there to capture such a beautiful day - God bless you sweetheart!
The other day, I met little Victoria in a sunflower field. She was so sweet, I couldn't get enough of her sweet little face. I laid right down on the dirt to get the flowers in behind her, and you could probably create a garden with the dust that was all over me! But after, we headed to the beach and got some super cute shots there too - Victoria gave us some adorable smiles, and made it almost all the way to the end without getting frustrated!
What a beautiful little girl and a beautiful family!
I met with Amanda over Christmas, she bought a family session. And what better time then when her sister is moving across the country! So out I went to meet the rest of the awesome family, and I had an amazing time! We stayed on their property, and the sun was setting right behind us - made for some really beautiful flares!
Thank you Amanda for introducing me to your family - and than you for letting me take these wonderful photos!
I met with Josianne and her family a couple weeks ago at Sunnidale park to take some family photos before they move out to Quebec. We had a really wonderful time shooting in the golden hour, the sun was a beautiful orange and the park had so many wonderful areas for the kids to play so we could get some live-action shots.
I love Sunnidale, even when it's full of photographers, there's always a new spot to check out!
I love that taking this family's photos has become a yearly occurrence! The property they have is gorgeous, right on the water in innisfil. It's so amazing to watch the girls grow, and each year Peyton gets a little more comfortable with me, we even get some smiles! This year, we even added a new little one to the brood. Can't wait to finish the session and get the photos back to them!
I met with Armando and his wonderful family a little while ago at Wilkins Beach for their family photos. He had two beautiful little girls that did a wonderful job the whole time. The youngest reminded me a bit of my daughter, she was shy at fist but opened up and we got some rally wonderful shots! I know they're going to love the smiles they can hang up on this walls forever!
Ok, so I know it was Lisa's side of the family that came for photos, and I am completely unaware of her maiden name, so forgive me everyone! But despite my lack of knowing the proper name, the photos for this gigantic family session are still quite amazing!
There were kids, animal-kids, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. This was an incredibly easy going session, and everyone did a great job - there was no need to wrangle anyone in!
Thanks for letting me capture some wonderful memories for you guys!
I have to tell you, this never gets old! I was blessed to be able to take pictures for my sister and her husband when they announced they were pregnant with my nephew George, and now I was blessed to be able to do it again! I can't wait until September when I find out if it's a little niece or nephew, but either way - the family is growing and my heart right along with it!
Congratulations to my sister and her family on a new baby to love on the way!

Today I stepped a little out of my comfort zone for little Jude's newborn photo session. If you've been following my site, you've probably noticed that I tend to take photos of babies settled into baskets, nuzzled up like they're in a little nest. For some reason, I always felt more comfortable doing that style. But when I was contacted by Jude's mum, she was hoping for the blanket and beanbag style shoot. Well, I spent most of the afternoon studying how to place him properly on the beanbag so he'd be comfortable, and so I'd get those amazing shots. I arrived with only one plan - nail the shoot...
