Kristen came with her amazing family for some fall family photos - if you're interested, check out my schedule for Minis this year!
We had a great time and the weather was amazing - we got some beautiful smiles and I'm imaging those smiles will only grow when they look at their gallery. It's quite a small world, Kristen lives in the same neighbourhood as my sister!
Enjoy some samples!
This family won my contest around Christmas last year and we finally nailed down a time to get together and take their photos. What a gorgeous family they had with a new little one too!
Thank you for taking part in the contest, and I can't wait to show you your gallery!
Every year I get to meet Sam and Shane at Sam's parent's house to take their family photos. Peyton is starting to really come around with smiles for her photos - a far cry from when she was younger! But not to worry.. Clark had a big scowl for me almost the whole time. And, big news! Lily is going to be a big sister - so hopefully next year we'll get to add more smiles to our pictures!
Thanks for having me out again guys, it was a beautiful day for your pictures!
I'm a little behind on my blogging, but I'll be trying to catch up soon!
When I first started speaking with Charlotte, she told me she wanted family photos done, but she had only a week long window where we could meet. And of course, the weather called for rain. But, come time to get together, the sun came right out and it was a beautiful soft light - ok, a little wet from the hours previous, but sometimes you have to roll with the punches!
I thoroughly enjoyed taking this family's pictures! The kids were all fantastic and funny, and you really couldn't go without the accents :)
Ok, one more post for you today - Then I'll work on some of the shots I've done for the 1st Painswick Scouts!
Launie, Sandy and Emma were up yesterday to get some family shots, I managed to talk them into a couple outdoor ones before we hit the studio because I just can't get enough of photos outside. Little Emma was adorable and only really started to get antsy near the end, but that wasn't a problem because we got so many awesome pics in between!
Thank you guys for coming up - hope you love these!
Ok, I'm done. After a full day of families (including my own) coming in for Christmas photos, I'm completely done! I need a solid nap and a hug :P
The kids were amazing - although they tried their parents' patience - and there were so many smiles. Were had to work really hard for some of them, they all smiled, but they didn't all want to do that facing the camera. We had some yelling, a lot of playing. One family where the oldest baby's look on her face made my whole day. I even tried to get a shot for my dad - 5 grandkids in one photo! I'll let you be the judge... think you'd need a nap too?
I love that I get to see this family as often as I do! Sam, Shane, Peyton and Clark met with me on the weekend to do their fall family photos and I couldn't have been happier. Peyton used to cringe when she saw me, she would cry and smiling was just absolutely out of the question. Now, she will walk with me and smile for me and she is just a picture of perfection when it comes to photos. Clark, on the other hand - well he needs some time but he'll come around!
I met with Caitie and her family on Sunday for their family photography session and while it was chilly - the weather was just perfect! Hewitt's Creek is one of my favourite spots, a beautiful path with some great colour when the leaves change. It's incredible how long we've managed to keep the colours this year! Usually, it's a week and then the leaves drop, but they've stuck it out this year, and the photos we're getting are stunning!
I hope that Caitie enjoys the photos - I'm so happy with how they turned out.
Photographer / photography in Barrie for wedding,...
I met Stephanie, her boyfriend and their 2 beautiful dogs a couple weeks ago for a little family style shoot. The weather was beautiful and the sun was in the sky at an absolutely perfect spot. We took a little to get the pups attention but once we got going (and remembered to give her a stick to chew on) the photos just flew by!
I had the pleasure to take my sister's family put for some family photos yesterday and it was definitely an experience. The thing about 3 kids is that when one is looking, the other two aren't, or they're crying. And on that off chance that you manage to get all 3 looking, it's likely because the parents have looked down at the kids!
But we plowed through and managed to keep the kids at least partly entertained, if not entirely happy the entire time, and the pictures turned out better than I could have hoped for!
