Engagement

Nicole and Billy met with me a month or two ago to book their wedding for March 2012, and just yesterday, they called me to see if they could squeeze in to a spot today for their engagement photos. Well, I just couldn't say no!  These two were an absolute pleasure to photograph, and made my afternoon so much more fun just being with them!  They have 2 incredible sides that I was shown today... the amazingly fun side, and the incredibly romantic side. The photos are looking amazing, and I've got so many favourites! I'm trying my best to get them done quickly for them, because they won a spot...

My last shoot on Sunday was with Natalie and Darcy for their engagement pictures. This couple was a riot!  They were constantly goofing around and playing with eachother - I can say from experience, having fun with your spouse is a huge part of  your marriage, you need the fun to keep things fresh. If you believe that to be true, then there is no other couple with as much staying power as Natalie and Darcy! When they arrived at my mother in law's farm, the dog went crazy - couldn't get enough of Darcy! Natalie had to remind him that if we wanted to dog to leave, he had to stop petting her!...

So tonight I met Ian and Tammy at the McLaren Art centre in downtown Barrie for their engagement photos. What a fantastic couple! I had intended to take a couple pictures around the gallery, but after driving around the area a bit, I absolutely couldn't stay away from the old jail down the road - it sounds crazy right? But the texture of the old brick, combined with the beautiful bright colour Tammy was wearing has made for some really gorgeous photos! This couple was so amazing to work with, I really can't say enough good things about them. They'll be merging their families to a total of 5 children,...

I met Brittany and Terry today for their engagement photo session. No one could have been more in love than Brittany and Terry, it was plain in their faces. Every time they looked at eachother, you could see them whispering that they loved each other - just warmed my heart! And, on a day like today, you needed to be warmed! We arrived at the skate park in Barrie a little early, so I could scope out the area and get some ideas for some nice pictures. After a mere 10 minutes in the wind we were running back to the car to drive to the closest place we could find to buy a hat and gloves! It was biting...
