I met little Lennox on the weekend for his big birthday cake smash photos. He was such a gorgeous little man - and full of smiles. But ultimately the whole situation was overwhelming, and he had a hard time getting really into the cake. But smash or no, we managed some great shots that I'm sure little Lennox's parents will love!
It's that time again, Easter season! And that means Alexa is turning one, cake smash photos are on the way! Alexa came to me today and she was just adorable! Little tutu dress, adorable bows and a delicious pink cake. Matched up with the balloons, it was perfect. We had to work for the few smirks we got, she was too busy with the balloons and cake to bother with paying attention to us.
But this little doll's baby blues rocked my world - check her out!
Little Reagan is turning one, and her big sister Alexa is about to be six - so it only made sense to get these two beautiful girls in front of my lens and snap some shots for them. Paul was on backdrop duty while Lisa managed the kids and the shots were absolutely stunning.
I'm so excited about these pictures - and the impromptu cake smash really "took the cake". (See what I did there? :P )
Little Maisy turned ONE on monday! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by, one year ago I was capturing Maisy's birth, and what a beautiful experience it was! And then her newborn pictures, family pictures - and now my word, this little doll is one. Big sister Lucy was more than willing to help get into the cake with Maisy, but Maisy did a fantastic job all by herself!
Little Olivia is a whole year old! I can't believe it's been a year since she was born - and even from the pictures we did around easter - its plain to see that she's grown so, so much! She loved getting into the cake, and while she didn't eat much, she still had a great time playing in it and smiling the whole time!
Happy Birthday Olivia, you sweet little thing!
I haven't seen little Alyssa in a whole year, and she's grown SO much since her newborn photos! We met at Lampman park near the splash pad to take some pictures of big sister Amelia and little Alyssa together, then moved under the trees to smash some cake. Alyssa had a little bit of nerves when it came to getting in front of the camera, but we managed to sneak a couple great shots when she wasn't thinking too much about me :P Poor mum was covered in cake by the end of the shoot!
I love photographing Cole, not only is he the cutest, sweetest little man ever, but his mom's a riot too! Trish brought Cole over on Tuesday and Cole got right into his cake - he looked like a little grinch all covered in the green icing. And his little cow print hat, bow tie and diaper cover just totally won my heart!
We could hardly get Cole out of the cake, he must have been pretty hungry!
I can't believe it's been a whole year since Max was born - he's gotten so big even since Christmas! Max was a sweetheart, wanting to play with his blocks and a little timid to eat the cake. But he had no problem eating the cake when he wasn't using his hands! He was full of smiles, and lots of fun (and had a super cute diaper).
This little chunkier is so sweet!
This morning I made my way to Georgetown for Liam's birthday pictures - I wasn't going to let a little snow stop me, and thankfully it didn't snow too bad and the drive was easy! When I got there, Nolan was all ready in his shirt and tie ready to watch his little bro's shoot. And he was a perfect gentleman, he wanted to help and make sure that Liam was happy.
Liam was a super cute little button - he started slow, dipping his finger into the icing... then progressed into munching :P When it appeared he had had enough, in jumped big brother Nolan, and Liam and Nolan smashed the cake together!...
This morning I got right back to work after an incredible vacation, and what better way to start than with Nathan's Cake Smash photos!? I met Nathan as a newborn, and then again at a wedding (where he had a cameo appearance) and then again today for his birthday. Ryan and Meaghan should be very proud parents, because even when Nate wasn't happy about the situation, he still managed to smile his way through it! A true little photo star!
Anyways, check out this cheeky little smile, and incredible baby blues - what a doll!
